Do Your Tenants Need an EICR?

For landlords in England, EICR testing is a legal requirement. Electrical installations must be inspected and tested by a qualified electrician at least once every five years. After each inspection, landlords must:

• Provide a copy to existing and new tenants

• Carry out any remedial work within 28 days (or sooner if specified)
